Admission Requirements

Students who get enough points in the university entrance score are accepted to our department.

Program Qualifications

Follows the knowledge in the field of Mathematics and communicates with colleagues by using a foreign language at least at the European Language Portfolio B1 General Level.
Uses basic software related to the field.
Knows the basic computer programming logic and makes programming.
Establishes the relationship between mathematics, nature and art.
Knows the basic concepts and methods in the field of mathematics and applies them in problem solving.
Has the ability to define the problem, relate the items and produce solutions.
Works effectively in disciplinary and multi-disciplinary teams.
Reaches the necessary information in the field of mathematics by using databases and other information sources.
Expresses the problem effectively in writing and orally, using mathematical notation and expressions.
Establishes relationships between sub-disciplines of mathematics and uses these relationships in solving problems.
Performs mathematical abstraction and searches for solutions for problems in different disciplines.
Comprehends the difference between objective and subjective concepts and has the ability to express and evaluate objectively.
Associates mathematics with different disciplines, creates mathematical models of problems in different disciplines and develops solutions.
Knows and applies basic scientific research methods and techniques by using scientific and analytical thinking skills.
Has the ability to make inferences based on mathematical facts.

Our graduates have the opportunity to work in many business lines related to mathematics, statistics and numerical data, both in public institutions and in the private sector. In addition, there are options to become a mathematics teacher by completing pedagogical formation education in an education faculty. Finally, aspiring students can build an academic career by continuing their academic studies with a master's and doctorate.
